Everyone hopes that their pets live a long, healthy life. Unfortunately, pets do get sick and injured, sometimes very seriously. Medical treatment can be very expensive and sometimes just too much for the owners.  Our grant program is offered to veterinarians that go to where the homeless congregate.  We do not give to individuals.  These organizations may be able to help with your individual veterinary expenses.  Like "Feeding Pets of the Homeless" they have specific missions and criteria to meet in order to qualify.  Please go their website to read more.  Please let us know if you come across other organizations that can help and we will list them.

There are many other organizations that can help cover the costs of veterinary bills. Many are specific to one breed, so check with the local breed rescue organization to see if there is one for your pet. Also, check with your local shelter or chapter of the humane society. These organizations typically know of other organizations that may help only on a local level.

ASPCA - The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals   National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness  National Coalition for the Homeless   Forgotten Voice - The Voice of Homeless People in Nevada  Forgotten Voice is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We were formed as a street paper in which homeless and formerly homeless people, as well as homeless advocates, write and produce. The goal is to empower the homeless and let their voices be heard.
